About Us

Tri-State Concrete Coatings has been transforming concrete surfaces across the tri-state region since 1999. What started as a focused concrete resurfacing operation has grown into one of the most trusted coating companies in Frederick County, Washington County, the Eastern Panhandle of WV, and Western Loudoun County.

In 2019, Byron Speak took ownership of Tri-State, bringing with him more than 17 years of hands-on experience in the concrete coatings industry. Byron didn’t inherit a company and hand it off to a crew — he got to work. His approach has always been simple: show up prepared, do the job right, and leave every surface better than you found it.

That philosophy hasn’t changed. Every project Tri-State takes on gets the same level of care and attention whether it’s a residential garage floor or a large commercial space.
